Doreen Petrella

In her role as Chief Financial Officer at Hoffman & Ospina, Doreen Petrella oversees all aspects of the Firm’s fiscal strategy, accounting, financial processing, operational forecasting, human resource management, and IT compliance to ensure the Firm’s continued trajectory of growth from a strong financial foundation.

She has more than 25 years of experience in the accounting profession, including roles in public accounting as an auditor and tax advisor, serving as controller for not-for-profits, providing fractional CFO and turnaround management consulting for small to mid-sized businesses and running her own practice.

​

In addition to her financial expertise, Doreen has a solid background in design and project management. Her unique combination of financial acumen and design experience allows her to approach challenges with creativity, precision, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

From financial plans to floor plans, Doreen is passionate about solving problems and designing solutions. Today, she delights in putting her two professional loves—finance and design—together as CFO for one of the nation's leading, award-winning landscape architecture firms.
